BALLISTIC SHIELDS

Special Tactical Services, LLC (STS) is committed to providing the highest quality products available. Our ballistic products have been engineered and designed to withstand repeated hits from virtually any shotgun, handgun, or rifle to include all 5.56mm and 7.62 armor piercing ammunition. Our BWS has successfully defeated .50 caliber M33 ammunition fired from a M2HB Browning Machine Gun at 100 meters.

WEAPON MOUNTS

We have a wide range of weapon mounts and can provide modern mounting systems for all of your crew served weapon needs. All standard mounting systems are available as well as custom mounting solutions to meet your specific needs. (MK16 MOD8, MK16 MOD9R, MK82, MK93, MK95, MK97 MOD0, MK125 MOD0) These are mil-spec items that will perform when you need them most.

The weapon system mounts tie in directly to our machine gun training program. We know what system will work best for your application and are committed to providing the best mounts available to you.

STEEL TARGETS

The STS line of steel targets is second to none. We use only the finest steel available to ensure the highest level of safety to the user. Our target systems are designed with the shooter in mind. We do not cut corners in an effort to save money. Our clients report that STS targets have lasted 3-4 times longer than those offered by any of our competitors and have withstood hundreds of thousands of rounds without breaking, cracking, pitting or chipping.

One of the goals at STS is to provide target products that will exceed your expectations and provide you with a quality training medium to get the job done. Our systems do not require any tools for set up. They are designed for ease of use and maintenance saving you valuable training time.

Construction:
Our targets are made with AR500 steel that will withstand repeated impacts from virtually any standard caliber of handgun, rifle, or shotgun projectiles. This hardened strike face will reduce the chance for return fragmentation.

There are no brackets, bolts or welds on any AR500 strike face to direct fragmentation in unpredictable paths. All surfaces are angled so that fragmentation is directed in a predictable pattern away from the firing line.

Laser cut for smooth borders and have radius corners to eliminate sharp edges for safe handling and a professional appearance.
